Carl Painter
joins SmartCentric Technologies US LLC as Director
Technical Services, North America
Continuing the
expansion of its operations in the Americas, SmartCentric
Technologies International Ltd (SmartCentric) today announced the appointment of Carl Painter in the
newly created role of Director Technical Services for
North America.
Carl
Painter brings with him more than 12 years of technical expertise in
card technologies. He holds a BS in Interdisciplinary Physics/Computer
Science from Florida State University, and numerous certifications
from Microsoft, Novel, and Checkpoint. His experience in
understanding customer needs together with his solid technical
background will ensure that he will serve the needs of SmartCentric
and its customers very well. Most recently, Carl was with Vision
Database Systems.
Carl will be responsible
for technical development, support and installations in North America.
In this role he will oversee the implementation of SmartCentric
solutions across the product offerings.
For Carl Painter the new
move is an exciting one. “It is an honor to get the chance to extend
the world class Technical Services division of SmartCentric to the
United States. I have been particularly impressed with SmartCentric’s
vision to integrate their current solution with contactless cards and
biometrics, all while keeping the ability to interface with existing
card systems. This was a long awaited logical next step for some of
their clients and will put SmartCentric in a unique position in North
America.”
